Only, crowdfunding is changing the game. Good inventions, noble causes, works of art, community programs, they all can happen a lot easier now.
Anyone can post a publicly visible project where visitors can support them. Complete strangers from across the world uniting for a common goal.
The result is millions of dollars contributed to phenomenal projects; projects that never would have become realized.
