WHAT WILL THIS COST YOU?

Nothing. Estimates and registration are free. We don't charge for text/phone estimates because they are quick and free. And, the registration process is not much work; the value of having you as a customer is well worth inputting your permanent account information in our system for future consignments.

HOW DO WE MAKE MONEY?
It’s a 90/10 split of the actual selling price - in your favor. For example: if an item of yours sells for $100, Old's Kool keeps $10 and pays you the remaining $90 balance. If there is a sale in the store, the sales percentage comes off of our side of the transaction if sold during the sale period.

HOW DO WE PRICE ITEMS?

The resale price of your consignment items will be discussed with you (each is unique) however, we have the sole discretion to determine the final price at the time of accepting the consignment. Every effort will be made to fairly and profitably price your items based on a number of factors including condition of the item(s), quality and brand name, as well as the current local and international market rates for comparable merchandise. By consigning with us, you acknowledge that Old's Kool is not a certified appraiser of electronics, furniture, and sporting goods.

WHAT DO WE ACCEPT?

We accept almost anything with the potential for re-use. Typically, Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) able to operate current software applications are considered having a potential for re-use. Computers should be equipped with wifi, and processors faster than 1GHz. Types of items considered are: audio equipment and speakers, mp3 players, flat-panel televisions, video games and consoles, and web-based mobile devices (cellular phones, iPods, tablets, netbooks, laptops, etc.)

WHAT WE DO NOT TYPICALLY ACCEPT?

Parallel to our philosophy, we do not sell items that are obsolete and/or have reached the end of their life cycle. You will not find antiques or collectibles here - just practical items. Large items such as CRT televisions and home appliances are also not accepted at this time. Contact us for more information.

DO YOU NEED AN APPOINTMENT TO BRING IN ITEMS?

Yes, a free appointment allows us the time to discuss your merchandise without interruption. Also, Old’s Kool reserves the right to reject any item(s) for any reason at any time. Obviously, carrying in large items does not make sense. Over the phone, we can potentially determine which of your items are consign-able and answer many questions before you bring your stuff. We suggest sending us a current, quality photo via email or text message.

DO YOU NEED AN APPOINTMENT TO MAKE A PURCHASE?
Technically, yes... Items are secured in our possession until requested for purchase. A phone call or text message is necessary for us to arrange a viewing of the merchandise.

IS THERE A PHYSICAL LOCATION I CAN VIEW YOUR MERCHANDISE?

No. Old's Kool is web-based and semi mobile. All merchandise is available for viewing online. This helps us pay more money to our consignors and offer lower sales prices for our customers.

WHAT IS THE RETURN POLICY?
We do not offer returns or exchanges. All items are sold “as is”.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP THE ITEMS?

We keep items available for sale for a maximum of 120 days, most items sell within 1-2 weeks.

ARE THERE PRICE REDUCTIONS?

There is an automatic 10% reduction after the first 30 days and every 30 days thereafter until the end of the consignment period.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER 120 DAYS IF THE ITEM DOESN’T SELL?

It is strongly recommended that you pick up your item within 3 days after the end of the 120 day period. After 120 days, if merchandise is not picked within the 3 day period, it becomes the property of Old's Kool.

IS THERE PICK-UP AND DELIVERY?

Unfortunately, pick-up and delivery is not available at this time. We are working to acquire referral business partners that you may use.

HOW MANY ITEMS CAN YOU CONSIGN?

There is no limit, assuming that each piece you bring in meets the standards we have listed.

HOW CAN YOU MAKE THE MOST MONEY FROM YOUR ITEM?

A little elbow grease can add cash to your pocketbook. Wipe off those Chile Cheetos fingerprints from the iPod'd touchscreen and the mud on the bicycle from that sick ride down the mountain. Also, lubricate what can benefit from it. And we'll do our part to get you top dollar!
